DARYL Clark has confirmed he will be having surgery on a hip problem during the off-season.

The Warrington Wolves hooker posted the news on Instagram as he outlined a number of injuries with which he finished the 2021 season.

Clark missed the final three games of the regular season, returning for last Friday's 19-0 play-off eliminator defeat to Hull KR.

He also confirmed he finished the campaign with two fractured ribs and a torn medial ligament in his knee, all of which would appear to rule him out of contention to play for England in their post-season Test against France on October 23.
