ANDRE Savelio will miss out on a meeting with former club Warrington Wolves through suspension.

The second rower – born in New Zealand but brought up in Warrington, attending Cardinal Newman High School – has been hit with a three-match ban for a punching incident during Hull FC's loss to Huddersfield Giants last week.

Savelio and Giants second rower Josh Jones were both dismissed for the incident which happened as the full-time hooter went, with the latter hit with a two-match suspension.

The final match of Savelio's ban will be the Black and Whites' trip to The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Sunday, August 8.

The 26-year-old spent one season with The Wire in 2017, scoring nine tries in 25 appearances before joining NRL side Brisbane Broncos for 2018.
