THE Halliwell Jones Stadium will be at full capacity for Warrington Wolves’ clash with Wigan Warriors next week.

With all of England’s remaining Covid restrictions being lifted today, the capacity cap of 4,000 at The Wire’s home ground is now no longer in place after discussions with Warrington Borough Council.

It means the HJ will see it’s biggest crowd for nearly 18 months when the near neighbours clash, although some areas will be cordoned off as “red zones” will still be needed.

The game could see George Williams make his home debut for The Wire against his former club.

Hospitality will also be fully open and refreshment kiosks around the ground will also be available to use once again.

"It is going to be an almighty game – a derby clash and the return of George Williams to Super League against his former club,” chief executive Karl Fitzpatrick said.

"It is one not to be missed."

General sale tickets for the game are on sale now.
