LOOKING at the numbers, it is easy to see why Steve Price was named Super League's coach of the month for June.
A voting panel consisting of nine members of the rugby league media unanimously chose the Warrington Wolves boss for the award for a month which started with the disappointing Challenge Cup semi-final loss to Castleford Tigers.
In Super League, though, The Wire won all four of their games including away victories over both of last year's Grand Finalists St Helens and Wigan and accomplished home victories over Wakefield Trinity and Leigh Centurions.
Over those four games, they scored 128 points – an average of 32 per game – as their attack clicked into gear while at the other end, they leaked an average of 13 per game and 52 overall.
