WARRINGTON Wolves Women made it two wins out of two in the Betfred Women’s Super League yesterday.
They were ruthless in their dismantling of Wakefield Trinity as they made full use of their chance to shine on the big stage at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
They ran in 17 tries without reply to rack up an 86-0 victory, which means they are the early leaders of Group Two on points difference from Featherstone Rovers, whom they travel to for their next fixture on June 5.
Five of The Wire’s tries were scored by centre Georgia Sutherland, who now has seven tries in two matches having crossed twice in their opening-day win at Barrow Raiders.
Sami Simpson also ran in a hat-trick, with skipper Michelle Davis touching down twice and kicking nine conversions.
