THE Warrington Wolves scholarship side continues to go from strength to strength.

Tyrone McCarthy's side thrashed Wakefield Trinity 56-10 at Victoria Park last night to make it four wins from as many games this season.

Full-back Cai Taylor-Wray starred with a hat-trick as The Wire ran in 11 tries in all, six of which were converted by scrum-half Patrick Irwin.

Arron Lindop and Alfie Longstaff both scored two tries each, with Wakefield's only response coming via second-half touchdowns from Owen Parsons and Max Sheard.

Irwin, Daniel Hackney, Francis Sergent and Oliver Evans were Warrington's other tryscorers.

The team are not set for action again until June 15 when they face Wigan Warriors at Victoria Park.
