THREE tries from Josh Thewlis laid a fine foundation for Warrington Wolves as they overhauled Huddersfield Giants 32-10.
His first two and another from Toby King, with Riley Dean's second conversion, moved The Wire 16-0 in front.
Dean kicked a penalty and Innes Senior pulled a try back for the visitors to leave Wolves 18-4 in charge at the break.
Connor Wrench flew over in the 59th minute to extend the lead.
And Thewlis' converted hat-trick try from Dean's grubber put the game out of Huddersfield's reach at 28-4 after 66 minutes.
Ben Currie took Wire over the 30-point mark four minutes later and Luke Yates added a late consolation for Giants.
