WARRINGTON Wolves’ Reserves made it back-to-back wins on Monday night.

A young Wire second-string side beat Bradford Bulls 28-14 at Victoria Park, with fringe first-teamer Riley Dean among the scorers.

The half-back scored a try and kicked four goals as Danny Evans’ side followed up their win over Castleford Tigers last time out.

Head coach Evans was full of praise for his side's display, with Dean and half-back partner Leon Hayes coming in for particular acclaim.

“I thought it was a fantastic team performance as we came up against a much bigger and experienced team in Bradford," he said.

"Defensively we had some real go about us, with our forwards laying the platform and both of our halves, Riley Dean and Leon Hayes, controlled the game well with the ball and came up with some smart plays.

"We had some young boys out there tonight that showed plenty of energy and the older boys led by example.”

Warrington flew out of the traps, with winger Josh Lynch crossing for a quickfire double before Jack Darbyshire touched down.

Jayden Myers and Colby Nichol scored for Bradford shortly afterwards, with the latter adding a second try after Dean had crossed.

However, hooker Tom Inman rounded off the scoring for The Wire, who are not due for action again until April 30 when they travel to Hull FC.
