CO-CAPTAIN Michelle Davis starred as Warrington Wolves’ women’s team got their campaign off to the perfect start today.
Davis scored five tries and kicked as many goals for a 30-point individual haul as The Wire beat the British Army 50-8 in their opening Women’s Challenge Cup group stage game.

New signing Emily Baggaley also marked her debut with a hat-trick of tries, with Fern Davies and Sammy Simpson also crossing in Aldershot.
The result sees Lee Westwood’s side leading Group A alongside defending champions St Helens, who beat Barrow Raiders in the opening round of fixtures.
Their next fixture sees them host Barrow at Victoria Park on Sunday, March 27, kick off 1pm.
The top two teams from each of the four groups advance to the knockout phases, which culminate in the final at Leeds’ Elland Road on May 7 as part of a triple header alongside the men’s semi-finals.
