AFTER a long spell out of action due to poor weather and worse pitches, Warrington Rugby Union Club's under 14s finally had a much-needed match to get back on track their aspirations of retaining the Lancashire Cup.
A heroic chase back from full-back Leo Zheng to deny a try galvanised the spirit and as the game continued the lines of running improved and the passes began to stick.
A monumental effort from Joe Malley and Christian Johnston in the middle of the park got the team going forward, allowing the visitors to pull away from the opposition in the closing stages.
A hat-trick of tries from both Rorio and Leo Zheng plus one from Jude Lightfoot finished off some fine passages of play.
Conversions were added by Jude Smith and Christian Johnston.
