LUKE ‘The Nuke’ Littler enters the action in the German Darts Championship today.
The Warrington 17-year-old is one of the 16 seeded players who take on yesterday’s first-round winners in two sessions today, before Sunday sees the destiny of the title decided in Hildesheim.
Littler’s opponent in the final game of tonight’s session will be Dylan Slevin, who held off Steve Beaton's fightback from 3-0 down to claim a 6-4 win over the veteran star.
"Steve is a legend and I was privileged to play him on his final Euro Tour [appearance]," said Slevin.
"Luke's a serious talent. Getting to the final of the World Championship is a huge accomplishment but if I can play a small bit better maybe I'll get over the line, and I'll enjoy it."
If Littler progresses, he will play Stephen Bunting or Peter Wright in the next round.
Live coverage of all 2024 European Tour events will be streamed through Viaplay.
Coverage will also be shown on PDCTV and through bookmakers worldwide.
