WARRINGTON Town youngster Matt Grivosti has earned a move to the Football League.

After a single season at Cantilever Park, the 19-year-old forward has joined League One side Bolton Wanderers.

It is thought Grivosti will turn out for Wanderers’ newly-formed ‘B’ team aimed at player development.

During a season in which he scored nine goals in 35 appearances for Yellows, Grivosti attracted admiring glances from professional clubs, including some Premier League sides.

Now, he could well feature against his old side when Bolton visit Cantilever Park for a pre-season friendly on Tuesday, August 2.

Grivosti becomes the second Town player in recent seasons to make the jump to the Football League following in the footsteps of Ben Garrity, who recently celebrated promotion to League One with Port Vale.
