WARRINGTON Rylands star Kane Drummond has been crowned as their division's player of the year.

The forward's sparkling displays helped Blues to the Northern Premier League West Division title and at the NPL Awards Evening on Saturday, he was crowned as the league's standout player.

Drummond scored 19 goals in 33 appearances for Dave McNabb's side during the 2021-22 campaign to help them to a third promotion in four years.

He was also named in the divisional team of the year alongside Rylands teammate Andy Scarisbrick.

Scarisbrick himself had a fine season, netting nine goals in 29 appearances from midfield.
