WARRINGTON Town have made two new signings ahead of today’s registration deadline for Northern Premier League clubs.

They have also extended the loan deal of winger Isaac Buckley-Ricketts as manager Mark Beesley finalises his squad for the remainder of the season.

Forward Michael Howard and goalkeeper Josh Ollerenshaw have joined the squad on dual registration deals and are eligible to make their debuts during Saturday’s trip to Radcliffe.

Howard has played a key role in Skelmersdale United’s push for promotion in the North West Counties League Premier Division, firing 27 goals in 47 appearances in all competitions.

Prior to this season, he was part of the Marine squad that reached the FA Cup third round and secured a memorable tie against Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur.

He can also name the likes of Stalybridge Celtic and Hednesford Town among his former clubs.

Ollerenshaw, 31, is back for his second spell at Cantilever Park having made 23 appearances for Town during the 2013-14 season.

He has also been playing in the NWCFL’s top flight this season for Avro and provides competition for established number one Daniel Atherton.

Having started his career at Oldham Athletic, Ollerenshaw has taken in spells with the likes of Ashton United, Hyde United and Altrincham through his career.

Buckley-Ricketts initially joined the club on loan from National League North side Southport until April 2 but will now remain at Cantilever Park until the end of the season.

He has made three appearances for Yellows since arriving earlier this month.
