EVAN Gumbs is leaving Warrington Town on loan.
The defender is joining Northern Premier League West Division outfit Runcorn Linnets on a short-term deal in order to build his match fitness.
Gumbs has struggled with serious injury since rejoining Yellows from Tranmere Rovers, with both hamstring and knee problems hampering him.
He made his first appearance of the season as a substitute during Tuesday night’s 3-2 defeat to Basford United.
