WARRINGTON Town have confirmed another new addition to their squad.
Central midfielder Mark Waddington joins the club ahead of the 2021-22 campaign, with the 24-year-old joining forwards Sean Miller and Dom Reid as new signings for Paul Carden's squad.
Wigan-born Waddington played in the Championship with Blackpool before joining Stoke City, from whom he was sent for loan spells in Scotland with Kilmarnock and Falkirk before spending time in the National League System with Barrow and Blyth Spartans.
Now, he is aiming to play a part in pushing Yellows towards the top of the Northern Premier League Premier Division once again
“I’m delighted to be joining the club," he said.
"There is a good group here already of both staff and players and I’m happy to be a part of it.
“The pre-season games are massive for me to get up to speed come the start of the season.
"Hopefully we can have a good season and be at the top end of the table.
"I’m looking forward to getting started, working hard and putting some good performances together both individually and collectively.”
Waddington could make his first appearance for the club in tomorrow's return to Cantilever Park when Yellows take on Tranmere Rovers in a pre-season friendly.
