WARRINGTON Town will be at home against familiar opposition in the first qualifying round of this season's FA Cup.
Yellows have been paired with City of Liverpool in the draw, with the tie taking place at Cantilever Park on Saturday, September 7.
Their opponents are managed by former Town defender Craig Robinson, who scored the winning goal in their famous 1-0 victory over Exeter City in the first round of this competition back in 2014.
That remains the only occasion upon which Town have reached the main draw.
The two sides met in a pre-season friendly earlier this month, with Yellows emerging 2-1 victors.
If the match ends in a draw, a replay would take place on the following Tuesday - September 10 - meaning their scheduled BetVictor Northern Premier Division clash with Stafford Rangers would have to be rearranged.
Town reached the fourth qualifying round last season before eventually succumbing to National League side FC Halifax Town in a replay.
