FOR the historic England appearance in the Euro 2020 Final against Italy at Wembley on Sunday, personalities from varying walks of life around Warrington accepted our invite to take part in this little survey.

Eddie Hemmings, Michelle Davis, Ray Fisher, Paul Heesom, Emily Rudge and Mike Parsons have taken up the opportunity.

They've told us their score predictions, where they will be watching the game, what they will be drinking, how they would celebrate an England victory...and more.

Here's what they have had to say.

PAUL HEESOM:

Sport lover, award-winning charity fundraiser, Glastonbury volunteer and owner of Paul Heesom Quality Gentlemens Hairdressing on Mersey Street:

Warrington Guardian:

Score prediction: 2-1 to England after extra time

Winning goal scorer: John Stones

Key player: Jordan Pickford

Where will you be watching: At home with a group of close friends. We always watch England tournament games together taking it in turns hosting. Many nights ending way too loud in a raucous karaoke

What England colours will you be wearing: I always wear white for England football or rugby games. As an Everton fan, wearing red brings me out in an allergic rash

Warrington Guardian:

What will be your Euro 2020 Final tipple: A nice session IPA from Warrington brewery, Twisted Wheel

Will it be a takeaway tea: The pre-match meal for the final will be my wife Carol’s famous hot pot. An absolute belter

How will you celebrate if England win: Loudly down the phone to every Scot and Welshman I know to rub it in

Which football team do you support: Everton

> VIEW: Amazing video you must watch before England game

RAY FISHER:

Former Tetley Walker player and manager, keen follower of boxing, football and rugby league, owner of Fisher Promotions and landlord of The Rodney on Winwick Road

England’s key player: Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, who will be man of the match

Where will you be watching: In The Rodney with family, friends and locals - best of both worlds and we are already full

What England colours will you be wearing: England t-shirt

What will be your Euro 2020 Final tipple: Nice few pints of Carling

Warrington Guardian:

Will it be a takeaway tea: Think about the food after the game, probably chipper supper

How will you celebrate if England win: Have a right royal sing song in the pub, so I will no doubt miss the chipper after all

Which football team do you support: Manchester United

MICHELLE DAVIS:

Former footballer, captain of Warrington Wolves Women rugby league team and England international, firefighter

What England colours will you be wearing: White!

What will be your Euro 2020 Final tipple: Fruit cider

Will it be a takeaway tea: We’re having tea out first at the pub

How will you celebrate if England win: I’ll just be happy if they win, no celebrations planned

Which football team do you support: Warrington Wolves Women FC

Warrington Guardian:

MIKE PARSONS:

One-time playground footballer, former Warrington Schoolboys rugby league player, ex-glass collector/barman at Time Square, sports editor of Warrington Guardian since 1993

Warrington Guardian:

Score prediction: 0-0 full-time, 1-1 extra-time, England win 5-4 on penalties

Winning goal scorer: Harry Kane with the killer penalty

Key player: Raheem Sterling with his prowess on the ball, to keep Italy on the back foot

Where will you be watching: At my mum and dad’s house in Latchford, that’s the plan anyway

What England colours will you be wearing: My prehistoric bright red England t-shirt, if it dries from the wash in time

Warrington Guardian:

What will be your Euro 2020 Final tipple: Non-alcoholic cider, I’m not a big drinker and I’ll be driving afterwards

Will it be a takeaway tea: It won’t be an Italian! Going to be a busy day, we’ll make a chilli in the slow cooker so it’s ready for whenever

How will you celebrate if England win: Probably just share match chat and reactions with my brother and nephews in Chepstow via the phone. And then it will be bedtime (work on Monday!). I'm a bundle of fun!

Which football team do you support: Historically Manchester United, but I like to see Plymouth Argyle doing well as that’s where I was born as well as our local teams in Warrington

EMILY RUDGE:

Sports all-rounder who became four-times schools rugby league champion with Cardinal Newman, Women’s Super League star with Saints and current England captain, PE teacher at Rainford High School

EDDIE HEMMINGS:

Past captain of Warrington Golf Club, ex-BBC football/rugby league commentator and producer, former Sky Sports rugby league presenter and commentator, now retired living in Appleton

Warrington Guardian:

Score prediction: I'm keeping my fingers crossed that England will win of course - but think it might be tight. So, I'll go for 2-1

Winning goal scorer: Either Jordan Henderson (I remain a big Liverpool fan) or Man City's wonderkid Phil Foden - or will it be Harry Kane just to prove his eye-popping £100 million valuation isn't as far-fetched as many at the Etihad Stadium might believe. Talking of City, my son Mark is a duty Tour Manager at Man City - and he actually has pulled Italy out of the hat in the departmental sweep...he has said he'll gladly forfeit his winnings for an England win - so I suppose technically we can't lose!

England’s key player: All the defenders need to be on their metal on the night - Harry McGuire... England expects!

Where will you be watching: In the lounge with Carole my wife - we'll be cheering them on, that's for sure. Come on England - give us all something to smile about! It would be - and of course already has been a massive lift for the country after the last nightmare 18 months we have all lived through, but a win would be the icing on the cake

What will be your Euro 2020 Final tipple: I'm old enough to remember the 1966 World Cup win - I was working weekends at Scott's supermarket in Maghull, where I lived, and we were given the afternoon off by the boss. I watched the win over West Germany at home with my Mum and Dad - and of course, at 16, was just a bit too young to be downing a favourite tipple. I'll have a couple this time though - probably large G&T's (don't tell Stevo!!)

Warrington Guardian:

Will it be a takeaway tea: I'll probably get the BBQ on early in the afternoon before settling down to watch the game

How will you celebrate if England win: There will be a bottle of fizz on ice to celebrate the moment we are all waiting for. I hope that bottle won't have to go back in the fridge though as I'm not as confident this time as I was in '66 - back then I just knew we were going to win

Which football team do you support: Liverpool
