BANK Quay Bulls will play in the semi finals of Leigh Miners' Champions Challenge rugby league competition but Rylands crashed out at the weekend.
Bulls were awarded their game against Widnes St Maries and will face Castleford Panthers at Leigh Miners on Saturday at 1.30pm.
Rylands lost 32-16 against National Conference League One side and holders Leigh East after leading 10-6 at half time in Saturday's quarter final.
Rylands opened the scoring when former Wolves winger Mark Forster collected a shrewd kick from his son Chris, who then ghosted in for a deserved try to give Rylands a 10-0 lead.
On the stroke of half time Leigh narrowed the deficit to four points after a dubious penalty was awarded to them and there was more controversy as Danny Hoyland had the ball stolen in a two-on-one tackle, leading to Leigh East scoring a converted try and going ahead for the first time.
Rylands lost their shape and composure and East took advantage, going 32-12 ahead before Andy Pucill forced his way over and Chris Forster converted to complete the scoring.
