A 20-YARD shot from centre half Scott Swainbank settled matters as Mid-Cheshire Soccer League side Crosfields won 1-0 in a friendly at Manchester Premier League side Irlam MS.
Danny Gallop, Neil Bradbury, John Lowe and Matt Woodier made their first appearances for Crosfields, while the bar and the post saved the home side from falling further behind.
Crosfields play Golborne Sports away tonight, Thursday, travel to Ashton Town on Saturday and complete their pre-season fixtures at home to Congleton on Tuesday, kick-off 6.30pm.
