COMMONWEALTH gold medallist Mike Babb has finished in the top 10 at the World Shooting Championships in Croatia.
Babb, who is a member of Appleton Rifle Club, scored an excellent 596 out of a possible 600 to finish ninth, just missing out on the top-eight shoot-out, in the 50m rifle prone individual event at the Zagreb championships, which are the biggest in the sport's calendar.
Babb also scored 593 as Great Britain finished 12th in the team event.
