WARRINGTON fighters had some cracking results at an Amateur Kickboxing Association event at Lowton Civic Hall.
Five wins were achieved by Warrington Kickboxing Studio members.
Middleweight Ste Brotherston defeated Leigh’s Lee Ashton 149-113, while cruiserweight Tristan Wright overhauled Leigh’s Craig Waterworth by technical knockout in round two and middleweight Andy Harris ended the hopes of Leigh’s Ashley Pilling by a technical knockout also in round two.
Lightweight Stephanie Hope defeated Milton Keynes opponent Claire Readhead on points 118-97, while middleweight Rachael Wolfenden got the better of Whitefield’s Marie Dixon with a technical knockout in round three.
Welterweight John Papworth sent Urmston’s Dean Vincent packing 168-141.
Warrington kickboxers hope to be in action again at Urmston Leisure Centre on November 28.
