MANY medals were won by Warrington Athletics Club competitors at their own Terry Davies Memorial Meeting staged at Victoria Park.
Athletes came from all over the north of England, Wales, Isle of Man and even Surrey to compete at the annual event.
In the under 11s age group, Warrington AC medallists included Tristan Tickle in the 75m (11.64secs) with Ralph Critchley (11.78secs) winning his heat and placing second overall.
Ethan Roberts won his heat in 11.98secs and was fourth overall.
Alfie Furnival was third in his 600m heat (1min 55.24secs) and third overall.
Ethan Roberts won his heat (2mins 06.91secs) with Daniel Kelly second (2mins 07.16secs) and Benjamin Noone third (2mins 07.99secs).
Ivy Davidson was second in the girls’ 600m in 2mins 03.07secs.
Clement Leung won the long jump with 4.07m and was third in the soft javelin with 13.72m.
In the under 13s age group, Holly Bryning led a clean sweep in the 100m winning in 13.87secs from Olivia Howarth (14.14secs) and Leah Poole (14.17secs).
Olivia Howarth won the long jump with 4.13m from Leah Poole 4.05m. Olivia also took third in the high jump with 1.35m while Jessica Downes was second in the shot putt with 7.12m.
In the boys’ events, Louis Green won the high jump with 1.35m and was second in the long jump with 3.94m.
Ted Cullen was second in the 1200m in 4mins 47.63secs.
In the under 15s age group, Tallie Sze was second in the long jump with 4.64m while in the 300m Holly McWilliams was second in 48.27secs and Eva Hayes was second in the 800m in 2mins 33.52secs.
Oliver Davenport won the 1500m in 4mins 37.24secs while Alfie Blizzard tasted victory in the 800m in 2mins 07.57secs. Thomas Darbyshire was victorious the high jump with 1.54m.
In the under 17s age group, Olivia Crawford moved up from the under 15s to run over 80m hurdles for the first time, winning in 11.98secs which would be a qualifying time for the English Schools and puts her 30th in this year’s under 17s rankings.
She also finished second in the under 17s 100m in 12.98secs.
In the 800m, Olivia Haselden won in 2mins 30.31secs.
Sebastian Hampson was second in the 1500m in 4mins 35.78secs, with Elliot Taylor third in 4mins 55.65secs.
Fraser Savage won the high jump with 1.65m, while Jake Sands won the shot putt (10.05m), was second in the hammer (28.83m) and third in the discus (23.36m).
Elliot Taylor won the long jump with 3.71m.
In the senior events, Ben Pucill won the 800m in 1min 58.79secs while Chris Fance won the Hammer (16.12m) and the high jump (1.35m) and was second in the shot putt (6.98m).
Sophie Rowlinson won the women’s long jump with 4.26m.
