LUKE Littler’s path through the Australian Darts Masters tournament has been confirmed.

Having won two World Series of Darts titles already this year, the 17-year-old Warringtonian is the number one seed for the tournament, which starts in Wollongong tomorrow.

Friday’s first round will see Littler and his seven fellow PDC representatives take on eight Oceanic players, with the quarters, semis and final to follow on Saturday.

Littler has been paired with Australian veteran Rob Modra in the first round, and their tie is scheduled to be the fifth of the eight to be played tomorrow.

Should he come through that tie, he faces a potential quarter-final clash with St Helens’ Michael Smith, who faces Stuart Coburn in the first round.

“I’m really happy to be here in Australia,” said Littler.

“This a new experience for me, just like everything else has been this year.

“I’ve got to back myself to win almost everything, although you probably can’t do that with the quality of players nowadays.

“I’ve really enjoyed playing on the World Series this year, and I would love to go to Australia and win at least one title!”

World champion Luke Humphries and Belgium’s Dimitri Van den Bergh are the other PDC representatives in Littler’s side of the draw.

The action gets underway at 10am UK time on Friday (7pm local time) and can be watched live on ITVX as well as PDCTV, with delayed coverage on ITV4 from 7pm UK time on Friday and 5pm UK time on Saturday.
