AND so we come to July – a busy and pivotal month in Warrington Wolves’ season.
Now back to weekly fixtures after a series of two-week breaks of late, Daryl Powell’s men play five games this month as opposed to just three in June.
Four out of those five games are weekend fixtures with afternoon kick offs, including Sunday’s home clash with Salford Red Devils and the visit to Castleford Tigers, which was pushed back from being a Friday night match for Sky Sports coverage.
This month also features Magic Weekend in Newcastle, with The Wire taking on Catalans Dragons at St James’ Park a week on Sunday.
It is a busy month outside of first-team action too, with the women’s, reserves, academy and scholarship teams playing nine matches between them.
