THE return of Super League means our resident tipster is back.

‘Mr Predictor’ could sit back and enjoy the international break but now, he is refreshed and ready to cast his eye over the next round of fixtures.

Here is how he sees Round 16 going…

ST HELENS VS LEEDS RHINOS

Leeds appear to be showing signs of getting their act together under Rohan Smith, but this will be the biggest test of that.

Traditionally one of the competition’s bigger games, it’s great to see them putting it on as a double-header with the women’s team game between the sides.

In terms of this one, though, I think Saints will have too much for the Rhinos.

Prediction: Saints by 14

WARRINGTON WOLVES VS HULL FC

Two of Super League’s out-of-form sides – while Hull are nye-on unbeatable at home, they have really struggled on the road.

There’s been a fair bit of upheaval off the pitch too, with Jake Connor out injured and Josh Reynolds having been let go.

Upheaval has been the buzzword of Wire’s season but in a game they simply have to win, I think they’ll just about get home.

Prediction: Warrington by 6

WIGAN WARRIORS VS TOULOUSE OLYMPIQUE

You feel if Toulouse are to stay up – delighting neutrals everywhere – it needs to start happening now for them.

However, getting anything out of a flying Wigan side looks to be a tall order.

Matty Peet’s side seem to be getting better and better and I can only foresee a comfortable home victory here.

Prediction: Wigan by 20

SALFORD RED DEVILS VS WAKEFIELD TRINITY

A big game at the bottom as both sides continue their push to keep Toulouse at arm’s length.

There were genuine fears for Wakefield a couple of weeks ago but back-to-back wins seem to have alleviated those concerns for now.

They look to have some good togetherness about them and I think they’ll win this one.

Prediction: Wakefield by 8

HULL KR VS HUDDERSFIELD GIANTS

Rovers really need to start winning again if they are to rekindle their play-off hopes.

One win in five has dropped them outside of the top six, while their visitors have shown few ill effects from losing the Challenge Cup Final.

The Giants looked well on course for a top-four spot and I think that bid continues with another win here.

Prediction: Huddersfield by 14

CASTLEFORD TIGERS VS CATALANS DRAGONS.

While they’re still a bit inconsistent, Castleford have crept quietly into the top six.

They’ve gone under the radar and if they can knock off the Dragons here, it will send a big message that their play-off push is a serious one.

That’s a tough ask, however, against a bang-in-form French side.

Prediction: Catalans by 8
