WHEN he returns to the Warrington Wolves side, Stefan Ratchford is on the cusp of another special milestone.

The goal-kicking full-back has missed the past two games with a quad injury but could be in contention to come back in for this weekend’s trip to Catalans Dragons.

If and when he does return, he is on the brink of scoring the 1,500th point of his professional career.

He needs just four points to hit the milestone, with 1,242 of his points so far having come during a stellar 10-year spell with The Wire.

Before moving to The Halliwell Jones Stadium, he scored 218 for Salford Red Devils while he has also notched 16 for England and 20 for England Knights.

Meanwhile, Saturday’s game could see several Catalans Dragons players hit milestones – although The Wire will be hoping to delay at least one of them.

Winger Fouad Yaha needs just one try to become Les Dracs’ all-time leading tryscorer – he is currently tied with Vincent Duport having touched down 87 times in 135 appearances.

Two Dragons players could hit appearance milestones on Saturday – England captain and reigning Man of Steel Sam Tomkins would be making his 350th appearance if, as expected, he returns from injury to face The Wire while winger Tom Davies is one shy of 100 Super League games.
