THE hellishly tough conditions proved inconsequential to Lymm RFC as they hammered neighbours Northwich on Saturday.
Adam Fletcher’s men ran in 11 tries at a blustery Beechwood and kept the back door shut at the other end for the second straight game to record a 67-0 victory and take their winning run to five matches
There were nine different try-scorers for the hosts, with Rich McEvoy crossing twice while they also benefitted from a penalty try.
Gregor Watson, Mick Stratford, Gav Woods, Adam Bray, Paddy Jennings, Alex Stewart, Liam Connolly and Gav Down touched down for Lymm.
And despite impeccably tricky conditions for kicking, Tom Shard managed to add conversions to five of their tries.
“Great to get a fifth win on the bounce and I’m especially proud that the boys kept the scoreline to nil again,” said Fletcher, whose side jump to fifth in the North Premier table.
“Conditions were extremely tough to play in, but we kept to our processes well.
“We had different combinations again this week and it was pleasing to see these come together and for the lads who had been playing well for the seconds to show what they could do.”
Lymm are at home again on Saturday as they host Rossendale.

Meanwhile, the Lymm third team's fourth away game in succession saw them win 37-10 at Oswestry's seconds.
Rob Griffiths and Matt Hill both scored twice, with further tries from Liam Kirkham, Chris Kinsey and Matt Grellier as well as conversion from Stu Norman.
