TWO of the Northern Premier League Premier Division's top strikers face off this evening as Warrington Town return to home soil.

Yellows welcome Radcliffe to Cantilever Park as Mark Beesley's side aim to extend their unbeaten league run to nine matches.

Despite this being the only fixture in the division tonight, Town are likely to remain fifth in the table regardless of the result – a win will not be enough take them above fourth-place South Shields while only a heavy defeat will allow Whitby Town to leapfrog them on goal difference.

Beesley has no fresh injury concerns for the game, with forward Jack Mackreth still doubtful after missing Saturday's 1-1 draw at Gainsborough Trinity with a tight hamstring.

Winger Dom Reid and left-back Eddie Clarke are the only players definitely ruled out of the game.

Tonight's visitors are in a mid-table position but are in the midst of an excellent run of form having won each of their past four games, forming part of a wider run of nine wins from their last 11 games in all competitions.

The league's two leading goalscorers will be on display – Jordan Buckley's tally of 12 goals this season for Yellows is beaten only by Boro's experienced hitman Bobby Grant, who has 13.

Kick off at Cantilever Park is at 7.45pm tonight.

At half time, charity fundraiser Speedo Mick will be walking around the pitch as his epic, 2,000-mile trek around the UK and Ireland takes him through Warrington.
