WARRINGTON Town made safe progress through to the FA Trophy second round this afternoon.
A goal inside the very first minute helped see off Chasetown at Cantilever Park, with Matt Grivosti converting Matt Regan's cross after just 52 seconds.
Yellows had several chances to extend their lead before Luke Duffy's assured finish finally made sure of the win in the late stages.
Chasetown ended the game with 10 men, with Zack Foster sent off for dissent in the final seconds.

THINGS are continuing to click nicely into gear.
The confident way in which this potentially tricky assignment was negotiated tells you all you need to know about Warrington Town over the past few weeks.
Although a side from the division below, lower-ranked sides will not come much tougher than Chasetown but they were dismissed with authority.
They will be disappointed they did not pose Yellows more of a challenge but in truth, they weren’t allowed to having fallen behind after just 52 seconds when Matt Grivosti swept home.
A defence that has now conceded just twice in eight unbeaten games held their opponents at arm’s length and further up the field, they caused endless problems.
Indeed, the only disappointment was that their dominance did not translate into a more comfortable scoreline, with Chasetown goalkeeper Curtis Pond in inspired form.
Town’s movement in the final third was fluid having placed more emphasis on getting more players into the opposition box.
In top scorer Jordan Buckley’s absence, Josh Amis led the line superbly while behind him, the quartet of Grivosti, Luke Duffy, Stefan Mols and Ben Hough buzzed around with a mixture of energy and craft.
Mols in particular was bewitching at times on his first start for the club, lending weight to the thought that the Spaniard will play a big part down the line.
With Jay Harris providing the fire blanket in front of them, Town ensured the likes of Buckley, Sean Williams and Dom Reid were not missed.
Having not enjoyed this competition in the past couple of seasons at least, this is now bubbling into a nice little run.
All eyes will now be on Monday’s draw but in a wider context, Paul Carden’s men are really starting to build something good.
