AS he returns to Australia with his family, outgoing Warrington Wolves head coach Steve Price has written the following letter to the club's fans...

Dear all,

I'd just like to take this opportunity to communicate my sincere thanks and gratitude for everyone connected to the Warrington Wolves.

In my time as Head Coach at the club, I've been fortunate enough to work with some incredibly talented and dedicated people that have brought me and my family fully into the heart of the club and the community.

The club will retain a special place for us all in our next journey and we will support fondly from back home.

Whilst we may not have achieved everything that we set out to achieve – and I for one am bitterly disappointed about this – there are some achievements that we are proud of in our journey together.

The memories of the Challenge Cup final victory in 2019 being the standout moment, 2018 Grand Final and the progressive integration of homegrown Wire players into the 1st team environment.

I know what the club means to the fans, and we have attempted to reflect this in the team’s identity and our culture in line with our town and community.

Finally, I’d like to thank all my staff, players, the board of directors, CEO, chairman, owner and all sponsors for their unrelenting support and belief.

A special thanks to the Warrington community that have and continue to invest in our club.

I’d also like to congratulate St Helens on their success on the pitch as Champions.

Good luck to everyone connected to the club.

Once a wire, always a wire.

Best Wishes,

Steve Price
