BOTH Warrington Town and Warrington Rylands are facing busy schedules over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Teams up and down the country are getting ready for two games in three days – a lung-busting schedule but one that can build momentum quickly.

Yellows will be looking to build on a promising start to the Northern Premier League Premier Division season which has seen them win three of their first four matches, the last being Tuesday's 2-0 victory over Atherton Collieries.

They welcome Matlock Town to Cantilever Park this afternoon before a trip up the M6 to face Bamber Bridge on Monday – both games kick off at 3pm.

Both opponents have started the campaign in identical fashion to Town, with Bamber Bridge the joint-highest scorers in the division thus far having netted 12 times in four games.

Rylands missed out on the chance to build on their perfect start to the NPL West Division during midweek.

They were due to face Workington at Gorsey Lane on Tuesday night, but the game was postponed due to their opponents' involvement in an FA Cup replay.

However, it means Dave McNabb's men had a chance to refresh ahead of their busy weekend.

Blues travel to Prescot Cables on Saturday before welcoming neighbours Widnes to Gorsey Lane on Monday, both kick offs 3pm.

Cables have lost both of their games thus far while Widnes have one win and two defeats from their three matches.
