WARRINGTON Rylands have had a busy week of pre-season action, including another trip to face Premier League youngsters.

Dave McNabb's men played three friendlies in as many days, beating Wythenshawe Town before losing matches against Liverpool's under 23s and AFC Liverpool.

Tuesday saw two of Blues' new signings come to the fore as Wythenshawe were thrashed 4-0, with Callum Dolan scoring a hat-trick and Kyle Sambor adding another.

Wednesday saw them travel to Liverpool's AXA Training Centre for another behind-closed-doors match in a top-flight environment, just a week after playing at Everton's Finch Farm base.

The Reds' youngsters ran out 5-1 winners in the game itself, with Rylands' goal coming courtesy of Ste Milne.

Last night, McNabb's side took on North West Counties League side AFC Liverpool and were beaten 2-1, with Luke Sephton scoring their goal.

Their next test comes tomorrow when they visit Pilkington, kick off 3pm.
