JASON Clark will miss Saturday's Challenge Cup semi-final against Castleford Tigers and is set for a spell on the sidelines.

The forward limped off during Thursday's Super League win over Salford Red Devils and sat out the game with an ice pack strapped to his calf.

In his pre-match press conference, head coach Steve Price confirmed Clark would be absent for "four to five weeks."

In better injury news, Price also confirmed props Mike Cooper and Joe Philbin would be fit to play and that other than Clark, there were no fresh injuries in camp.

"Jace Clark has a calf strain so he’s looking at four to five weeks," he said.

"It’s unfortunate as he was playing some really good football and was doing a lot of good things for us.

"It’s a shame for Jace but he’ll be diligent in his rehab and hopefully he won’t be too far away.

"Other than that, we’re all good and ready to go."

Clark joins long-term absentees Greg Inglis (hamstring) and Matty Ashton (ankle) in the Wire treatment room.
