WARRINGTON Wolves Women are still searching for their first ever Super League victory.

Despite a hat-trick from Georgia Sutherland and a stirring comeback, Lee Westwood's side fell to Bradford Bulls on Sunday.

Bradford held the early advantage at Victoria Park with tries from Sarah Dunn and Jessica Harrap.

Warrington then hit back through a brilliant breakaway try which saw Sutherland and Michelle Davis link-up brilliantly to send the Wire captain over.

The Bulls ran rampant for the rest of the half however, with tries from Cara Cookland and Stacey Greenwood before Harrap powered over for her second.

Bradford extended their lead shortly after the break through Grace Ramsden before Warrington began a second-half fightback starting with Dani Bound’s effort.

Two quick-fire tries from Sutherland put Wire well and truly back into contention heading into the final quarter of the game before Alice Fisher’s try ensured Bradford claimed the points.

There was time late on for Sutherland to complete her hat-trick but the defeat leaves Westwood’s side still chasing their first league win.

Their next game sees them face Huddersfield Giants on Sunday, June 13.
