CASTLEFORD Tigers have suspension issues ahead of their Challenge Cup semi-final clash with Warrington Wolves.

Forward George Griffin will miss the game at Leigh Sports Village after being handed a one-match penalty notice by the RFL's Match Review Panel.

Griffin was charged with Grade B dangerous contact for a late hit during the Tigers' 60-6 loss to Leeds Rhinos on Friday.

No Warrington players have been issued with charges or cautions following their 62-18 win at Salford on Thursday.

Meanwhile, The Wire's next Super League opponents Wakefield Trinity will also be without a key forward when they travel to The Halliwell Jones Stadium on June 11.

Second rower Matty Ashurst has been charged with a Grade C dangerous throw, which carries a two-match suspension.

Elsewhere, Catalans forward Joel Tomkins will be referred to a tribunal after being charged with Grade D punching.

The charge results from a flare-up during the Dragons' 48-0 hammering of Wigan Warriors, which concluded in Zak Hardaker being sent off for a headbutt on Sam Tomkins.

Hardaker has been handed a two-match ban for the headbutt.
