SITALEKI Akauola will miss Warrington Wolves' clash with Castleford Tigers on Saturday.

The prop forward has been handed a one-match penalty notice by the RFL Match Review Panel following an incident during last night's defeat to Huddersfield Giants.

Akauola's Grade A dangerous contact charge relates to an incident in the 76th minute of The Wire's 26-20 defeat at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

The panel's minutes read: "A defending player, in effecting a tackle, makes dangerous contact (either direct or indirect), or uses a technique which is likely to make dangerous contact (either direct or indirect), with the supporting leg or legs of an attacking player who is being held in the tackle by a defender(s), and who is deemed to be in a vulnerable position, in a way that involves an unacceptable risk of injury to that player."

No other Wire players were issued with charges or cautions but Salford Red Devils will be without a key man for their meeting with Steve Price's men next week.

Outside back Dan Sarginson has been hit with a three-game ban for a Grade C dangerous throw, which means he will miss the meeting at the AJ Bell Stadium on May 27.
