GARETH Widdop has been shortlisted for Super League's first Player of the Month award of 2021.
The Warrington Wolves scrum-half has started the season in fine form, with his five league appearances yielding three tries and some influential displays.
He is up for the award alongside five other players – St Helens pair Jonny Lomax and Jack Welsby, Wigan's Zak Hardaker, Hull FC's Jake Connor and Sam Tomkins of Catalans.
