"The game on the 17th is going to be special," Wire chief executive Karl Fitzpatrick said.

"Back playing in front of our loyal supporters is going to be a ‘I was there moment’ and to do this in front of the Sky Sports cameras makes it all the more special.

"We’ve waited a long time for this and there has been so much hard work and sacrifice to get to this point, I think it will be an emotional evening."

They had also announced the Round Seven hosting of Castleford Tigers would take place on Saturday, May 22 and that game is now confirmed as being a 3pm kick off.
