FANS of South Sydney Rabbitohs have picked their “team of the decade” – and there is plenty of Warrington Wolves interest in it.

Bunnies supporters were asked to pick their stand-out 17 of players to have represented the NRL giants between 2010 and 2019 – one of the most successful periods in their modern history which included a Premiership win in 2014.

Of those picked, three players have also appeared for The Wire with one more set to follow suit this year.

Greg Inglis, who has come out of retirement to join Wolves for this year, is named at full-back and he is joined among the backs by Bryson Goodwin – named in the centres.

Roy Asotasi is in at prop while Jason Clark is among the interchanges.

Inglis played 146 times for South Sydney before retiring in 2019, only to be tempted into a return to rugby league by Warrington for the upcoming season.

Goodwin featured in 99 NRL games for the Rabbitohs before joining The Wire ahead of the 2018 campaign.

He returned to Redfern after two years as a Wire, which encompassed 61 appearances and included a Challenge Cup Final victory in 2019.

However, he did not play a game in his second spell at the club and moved to Cronulla Sharks midway through 2020.

New Zealand and Samoa representative Asotasi arrived in England in 2014 following a stellar 133-game spell at South Sydney.

However, his time at The Halliwell Jones Stadium was underwhelming as he made 58 appearances across two seasons.

Clark is well-loved by fans of both Souths and The Wire for his reliability.

Having made 169 NRL appearances for the Bunnies, he joined The Wire in 2019 and played a big part in helping them lift the Challenge Cup in his first season.

He will go into his third campaign in England having made 49 appearances in primrose and blue.
