THE big day is finally here for Jamie Vermiglio.
Tonight, he leads his Chorley side into battle against Premier League side Wolverhampton Wanderers as their fairytale FA Cup run continues.
While preparing for that, he has been hard at work in his day job as headteacher at Locking Stumps Primary School in Birchwood.
With his pupils largely learning from home due to Covid restrictions, he was conducting a virtual assembly when he was given a bit of a surprise...
By day: Headteacher of Locking Stumps Primary School.
