2.

Warrington Guardian:

Poking the oil drum that was burning rubbish at Wilderspool in order to add special effect to the picture marking the arrival of New Zealand star Nigel Vagana in 1997 probably wasn't the greatest idea. Poor fella nearly had no eyebrows left - welcome to The Zoo, Nigel!

3.

Warrington Guardian:

We're not really sure what this was all about - fingers crossed for something or some weird form of rock, paper, scissors perhaps Anyway, Lee Briers, Nathan Wood and Jon Clarke had a laugh about it.

4.

Warrington Guardian:

Good old Laurence Robinson providing operatic pre-match entertainment at a Wigan v Wire match. The downpour was so heavy that fans could barely see him. That's a British July evening for you!

5. Warrington Guardian:

Back in 2014 this Wire fan met up with winger Matty Russell and showed him how she'd had all her favourite players' autographs tattooed on to her back. Bl-inking eck!
