WARRINGTON Wolves will be without star prop Mike Cooper for the play-offs battle with Hull FC tonight, Thursday, kick-off 7.45pm.

He is absent from the 21-man squad named by Steve Price, who has a number of options available to him as to who will join co-skipper Chris Hill in the starting front row.

Joe Philbin could be asked to step up from his usual role of causing disruption to opponents off the bench, or Jason Clark could make the switch from his regular loose-forward berth.

Price has also named Ellis Robson and Eribe Doro, who have taken up front-row positions on several occasions since the return from the sport's suspension.

Co-skipper Jack Hughes could move into the middle too, freeing up Ben Murdoch-Masila to feature in the right second row.

Wing options Jake Mamo and Matty Ashton both return to the match preparation squad, which is a boost in the continued absence of Tom Lineham through suspension.

The other regular wing starter Josh Charnley is named despite dislocating his shoulder on The Wire's last outing against Huddersfield Giants on October 30.

Wire 21: Matty Ashton, Blake Austin, Josh Charnley, Daryl Clark, Jason Clark, Ben Currie, Matt Davis, Eribe Doro, Anthony Gelling, Chris Hill, Jack Hughes, Toby King, Jake Mamo, Ben Murdoch-Masila, Declan Patton, Joe Philbin, Stefan Ratchford, Ellis Robson, Josh Thewlis, Danny Walker, Gareth Widdop.
