WARRINGTON Wolves now know they require three more victories to win their first ever Super League title.

Thanks to Wigan Warriors' victory over Huddersfield Giants tonight, The Wire are confirmed to have finished third in the table.

This means they will face sixth-placed Hull FC in an extended play-off series on Thursday, November 12, kick off 7.45pm.

The other eliminator will see Catalans Dragons host Leeds Rhinos on Friday, November 13.

Both of those ties will be held at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Wigan, who secured the League Leaders' Shield with tonight's 19-6 win, and second-placed St Helens will enter the play-offs at the semi-final stage.

Should The Wire win next week, they will face Saints in the last four on Friday, November 20, at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

The Grand Final will be held at Hull's KCOM Stadium on Friday, November 27.
