IF reports are to be believed, Warrington Wolves are set to lose one of their homegrown stars.
Rumours are circulating that hooker George Roby, who has starred the club’s academy, is the subject of strong interest from Huddersfield Giants.
Roby is yet to make his first-team debut but has represented England at academy level.
Earlier this year, the 18-year-old was named in the England Academy training squad alongside Wire teammates Josh Thewlis, Dean Beddall, Luke Broadbent, Jacob Gannon, Ellis Longstaff and Connor Wrench.
Alongside Thewlis and Longstaff, Roby starred in a win for England Academy against Wales under 19s last year, scoring two tries in a 62-0 win.
He is a former Crosfields junior and an ex-student of Beamont Collegiate Academy.
