DRAWS were the theme of the day for Warrington sides in the latest round of Cheshire Football League action.

Greenalls PSO, Daten and Eagle Sports were all involved in stalemates in the Premier Division on Saturday, with Greens playing out a goalless draw against Middlewich Town at Long Lane.

For the second week in a row, Daten’s game finished 3-3 as the Atoms shared six goals with Altrincham reserves.

Adam Campbell scored twice for Daten, with Michael Leigh hitting the other goal.

Meanwhile, Eagle Sports were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw with Winstanley Warriors – the division’s bottom side who had lost all four of their games prior to Saturday.

Eagle’s goals came courtesy of Liam Walker and Daniel Hutchins.

On Saturday, all of our Premier Division sides are slated to play away from home.

Daten travel to Egerton, Eagle Sports visit Knutsford and Greenalls are at Winstanley Warriors.

Elsewhere, Moore United are still searching for their first win of the season after drawing 1-1 with Cheadle Heath Nomads reserves. They are due to travel to Malpas on Saturday.

Rylands reserves got their first point of the season as they drew 3-3 at Hartford thanks to goals from Oliver Atherton, Corey Andrew and Jack Smith.

Both sides are at home on Saturday – Rylands host Whalley Range while Orford take on Nantwich Town reserves.
