THERE is a new joint-leader in the Warrington Wolves’ try-scoring stakes for this year.
After his two tries against Leeds Rhinos on Tuesday, Matty Ashton has joined Blake Austin at the top of the leaderboard on eight tries.
Impressively, though, Ashton has taken four less appearances to record the same number of four-pointers.
With the goals he kicked against Leeds and Wigan in his past two appearances, Stefan Ratchford has also passed 100 points for the season.
His 116 points have come via two tries and 54 goals.
