WARRINGTON Wolves' unbeaten nine-match run goes on the line at Salford Red Devils tonight, Tuesday.

The 30-16 victory against Catalans Dragons on Friday made it eight straight Super League successes, with the other game in the sequence being the Challenge Cup quarter-final success against St Helens.

Eight in a row equals a similar 2018 achievement in Steve Price's first season as head coach, when the inclusion of Challenge Cup wins took it to 10 victories on the bounce which The Wire could match this evening.

Nine Super League wins on the trot though has not been achieved by Warrington since 2014, so there's much more at stake than pride at the AJ Bell Stadium tonight.

As for past meetings with Salford, The Wire failed to beat them on all three occasions they came together last year.
