SUPER League clubs have been hit by further positive Covid-19 tests and enforced self-isolations.
Leeds Rhinos have announced one of their players who played in Friday's win over Huddersfield has returned a positive test in the weekly round of antigen testing.
The player will isolate until further notice and as part of track and trace protocol, two other Rhinos players have been stood down having been identified as close contacts.
A second player who produced a negative test on Monday reported symptoms in a daily wellbeing screening this morning, but the Leeds squad were not scheduled to train today and hence preparations for their Challenge Cup quarter final on Friday have not been affected.
Meanwhile, Wakefield Trinity have confirmed one of their players has returned a positive result from testing but despite this, their rearranged Super League fixture against Huddersfield Giants tomorrow afternoon will go ahead.
