WHAT an unusual sight it was.

Two Castleford Tigers kits were on display in a top-flight match at Wheldon Road in the 1980s, with Warrington Wolves wearing one of them.

And in the picture above, wonderful Wire stand-off John Woods is seen making a break while wearing Castleford's away kit.

He cut open Cas, who were playing in their home kit, like the former Leigh and Bradford number six often did to defences with his scintillating pace.

Warrington turned up to face Castleford that day, but their kit didn't, hence such an unusual picture.
